In the Devil’s Garden…

Last month, I made a jacket with materials that I had gathered on my motorcycle trip through Scandinavia this summer, and the jacket was sewn and photographed up at the cabin in northern Sweden. Here’s the darker version - the trim was bought in Roros, Norway and the fur came from a shop in Hede, Sweden, paired with a pair of leather embroidered pants. The only time I’ve ever worked for someone else was at age sixteen, at a fabric store. I worked there for a few months, and then quit to start Toxic Vision. My father told me that it was unwise to quit my job before knowing if my own thing would work. I was determined that I would MAKE it work.
